One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is, what are the differences between the Telesis Silicone Adhesives & Thinners?
TELESIS 9 SILICONE ADHESIVE - is the newest addition to the evolution of our silicone adhesives line. It is incredibly strong and durable and is the fastest drying adhesive in the Telesis line. The performance characteristics of this adhesive are close to the original Dow Corning 355 adhesive. Telesis 9 Adhesive is compatible with Telesis 9 Thinner, which can be used to adjust the desired working and drying time of the adhesive.
TELESIS 8 SILICONE ADHESIVE - Telesis 8 is also an incredibly strong and durable adhesive that utilizes different ingredients compared to Telesis 9. T8 offers a slower drying time that allows the artist more time to work. Once dried, the holding strength is unsurpassed. Telesis 8 Adhesive is compatible with the Telesis 8 Thinner.
TELESIS 8F SILICONE ADHESIVE - the F is for FAST! T8F is a Fast drying version of Telesis 8 Adhesive with the same strength, durability and working characteristics. Because T8F utilizes the same ingredients as T8, it is compatible with the Telesis 8 Thinner.
TELESIS 8S SILICONE ADHESIVE (Slow Drying) - Designed to offer a longer working period, this formula is excellent for use in high heat and humidity situations where silicone adhesives flash off too quickly for detailed work. As with the other Telesis 8 Adhesives, T8S is compatible with Telesis 8 Thinner.
TELESIS 8 MATTE LACE ADHESIVE - The ideal adhesive for laying hair goods and lace pieces. The matting agents are mixed intrinsically during the manufacturing process which ensures a fluid consistency so the adhesive never gets hard or cracks - it dries matte and stays matte. Telesis 8 Matte Adhesive is pliable and will move with your actor's face and will not damage your lace hair goods. Telesis 8 Matte is compatible with Telesis 8 Thinner.

Important things to remember are that all of these adhesives are medical grade and pressure sensitive - perfect for bonding silicone and latex pieces, especially around the eyes and mouth or other areas that are troublesome to glue down.
