Moudlife’s range of professional resin clear casting and moulding solutions has been carefully selected to provide our customers with the widest possible range of options for a variety of projects where material clarity is required.
Achieving a glass-like finish in clear resin moulding requires high-performance materials designed to resist UV yellowing and air entrapment. Our range of resin clear casting products includes everything from water-clear epoxies to fast-setting polyesters, ideal for sculptures, jewellery, and industrial prototypes.
In particular, Mouldlife supplies the Polytek® range of PolyOptic® clear-cast resins which have been developed to meet European legislative requirements (mercury free). Our product line is complemented by our extensive range of additives including extending fillers, pigments and mould release agents
For making your moulds, Mouldlife’s polyurethane clear casting systems have been tried and tested over many years with a wide variety of silicone mould-making and composite tooling systems.
Note that addition-cure silicone rubbers are required for best results when using these casting resins.
