Brilliant for detailed modelling

This clay is perfect for detailed models. It is really easy to work with and the flexibility of baked clay has saved me from having to complete many repairs on models. So many times have I caught my hand on a thin tooth or other fragile part of the model, and it has just flexed back into place. This has meant I can be much more free with the details, not concerned about damages before finishing. I had this problem with a cheaper polymer clay that wasn’t flexible, and it meant I couldn’t roll the clay as thin and lots of details snapped whilst I was still working.

I find the medium firm an excellent firmness, not too difficult to work in, and easy to sculpt details.

If the clay gets too soft, I’ve found that you can leave it for a while and come back. However this does make the clay more brittle to work with so I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re planning on sculpting intricate details if you cannot rework the clay beforehand.

Another thing I love about this clay is that even if unused clay is left out to the air, it will not harden until baked, meaning none accidentally goes to waste.
