In the mid 1970’s Ciba Geigy Corporation patented the modelling board under the name Ureol; Renshape® boards trace their lineage directly back to that original product. For many years OBO have manufactured the range of Renshape® P.U. boards for Huntsman Advanced Materials which Mouldlife successfully re-established here in the UK. 

Renshape® is manufactured either from polyurethane or epoxy, providing excellent workability and mechanical properties. In particular its free machining characteristics with minimal dust formation and resistance to distortion make it an excellent choice for all types of industrial models, dimensionally precise prototypes and moulds. The epoxy boards are perfect for composite prepreg tooling with their elevated temperature resistance and low linear thermal expansion rate, may also be used for data control models, cubing and vacuum forming moulds.
