Before committing to expensive tooling for everyday products, ideas are realised through the review of models, created using materials easily worked by hand or machine whilst being light and dimensionally stable.

Our thermosetting rigid polyurethane SMART Boards with their superior fine cell structure perfectly fulfil all of the technical requirements of the modelling and styling market.

Whilst SMART Boards can be carved using normal wood tools, they are equally suited to being milled on CNC machines / routers, generating low levels of dust being engineered to form chips and are practically odourless when processed in this way.  Due to their homogeneous compact surface they provide class leading definition and excellent dimensional stability.

SMART Boards are available in densities 80, 150, 250 and 300 kg/m³ with dimensions 2500mm x 1200mm up to 400mm for ML80 and 2000mm x 1000mm up to 200mm for ML150 – ML300.
