Stock Status: In Stock

TinSil® 80-30 RTV Silicone Rubber; a two-part condensation cure flexible rubber (tin-catalysed). Cures at A30 Shore (soft-medium) and peach in colour.

TinSil 80-30 was formulated for uses that require low shrinkage and longevity upon cured moulds.

Mix ratio by weight, Part B (base) and Part A (accelerator) will cure at room temperature with a knotty tear structure – a knotty tear property emphasises the strength of the material. If occurred, a tear will typically lengthen in the according direction to the tear – a knotty tear structure will prevent the tear from increasing. Additionally, TinSil moulds have immediate release properties and are resistant to high temperatures.

TinSil 80-30 can be poured once mixed or thickened with TinThix (thickening agent) for a brush-on application.

Suitable for casting: polyesters, epoxy and polyurethane resins, polyurethane foams, plaster, waxes and many other materials.

TinSil® 80-30 has been tested by an independent laboratory and was found to comply with 21 CFR 177.2600 (as published in the Code of Federal Regulations) for rubber articles intended for repeated use food contact surfaces when accurately measured, thoroughly mixed, and fully cured.
